• I feel like I’ve misunderstood Peter a lot in the first book. I really didn’t like him at first, but now he seems OK.
  • Protective mother’s are the cutest. I love how light and bubbly and almost childlike, the writing of this book is. It fits PERFECTLY with the premise and Lara Jean.
  • I know this is usually described as a YA romance, but at it’s core, this book is about sister love, and that’s what sets it apart.
  • Discussing sex/pain with Margot YES.
  • Elbowing someone in the chest, that’s awkward, but at least they don’t let it phase them. At least you didn’t elbow someone in the face and break their glasses (speaking from experience here people).
  • UGGGGGH, the Internet is the worst… why do people look at stuff like that???
  • Just some casual rape culture commentary in there fore you. HINT: It’s ALWAYS the girl who’s a slut but it could never be the guy; he wasn’t participating in any activity.
  • Kitty doesn’t know when to quit, she’s such a little sister, haha.
  • LOL, never sud a dutch oven with soap. HONESTLY.
  • PETER, he’s flipping adorable with Kitty and driving her to school, so tender. I swear there’s no more attractive quality.
  • Stormy’s grandson is going to be the new love interest. I can feel it in my bones.
  • Stormy’s speech on sex and temples, YESSSSSS.
  • Oooh, well it’s not (likely) Stormy’s grandson, but it could be. John was SO sweet to send that letter to LJ.
  • I don’t trust Genivive, but I also feel like she might actually have family stuff. BUT Peter isn’t being super honest/open about it either.
  • LOL, their sex talk. It’s so awkward and teenagery and funny.
  • I immediately shipping Lara Jean with John I’m not even sorry… They’re too adorable, writing letters and all that.
  • PETER. YOU’RE FIRED. Bringing Gen with you, it’s like you’re not even trying to be considerate of Lara Jean’s feelings.
  • I’ve never played Assassin but this sounds like a riot, and cutthroat.
  • Oh my gosh, Peter is going to see that Lara Jean is with John and stuff will go down what will happen.
  • Hmmm, I WONDER WHERE PETER IS (spoiler: I don’t actually wonder, I know).
  • OK, I believe that Genevieve has stuff going on, but monopolizing someone who’s in a relationship with another person and not explaining properly is also really shady. I also feel like Peter’s ability to put Lara Jean first is compromised. Also he should be thinking of her first.
  • Breaking up is hard to doooo.
  • I love how much effort Lara Jean puts into Kitty’s sleepover. Like even though they fight a lot and Kitty is kind of spiteful, there’s so much love between them. It’s adorable.
  • haha, staying overnight at a nursing home…
  • THEY’RE SO DANG CUTE PLAYING IN THE SNOW, DON’T TELL ME YOU DON’T SHIP IT.
    • Seriously, don’t lie.
  • Oh the 40s, everything seemed so classy then. Although the Mustang is probably a little out of place. I can just imagine how cute Lara Jean and John Ambrose McClaren are!!
  • I am LIVING through Mr. Morales screaming, “To the young ones!”
  • This convergence of Lara Jean, John, Peter and Genevieve is at boiling point, it’s like out of a soap opera. Only the kinds of interactions you read about in books and movies. It gives me life.
  • Wow everything got SO STEAMY and angsty there at the end. Kissing (John and Lara Jean) and snow globe and John being all sad and “one day” and the tree house and it was just so adorable. I’m so glad there’s a 2nd.
  • 7/10—LOVE Lara Jean. She’s amazing and has such a unique character arc. I’ve loved reading about her growth and seeing how different she is from TATBILB and the beginning/end of t his book. So sweet!
    • I like her and Peter together, but I just love John way more. I think they had more chemistry. When Lara Jean said Peter was the reality and John was the dream, I think it’s more of the other way around. I think she has more in common and is more emotionally compatible with John than Peter. Although Peter is really sweet too, just in his own way.
