• Damn right Harry wants to do his homework!!The flashlight makes SO much more sense than lumos *rolls eyes at movie*. Clearly they’ve never heard of the Statute of Secrecy, MUGGLES!
  • Witches during witch hunts be trolling
  • HEDWIG IS THE REAL MVP MAKING SURE HARRY GETS A BIRTHDAY PRESENT I WANT TO CRY
  • Why do people have to make fun of people? It’s just not nice.
  • Haha I forgot about Sir Cudugeon
  • This is where I loose patience with Ron. He can’t think of a good argument so he insults Hermione instead.
  • Also watching the whole thing with Hagrid is just horrid.
  • False, a boggart is not a shapeshifter. It’s a less dangerous “IT” but equally as frightening bogeyman.
  • Now that we know everything about Snape and Lupin, it’s easy to see how deliberate Snape was in his hatred. Lupin is a fully grown adult. Clearly For Snape, “friend of” means guilty, even though that was more than 10 years ago. Get a life. Move on. Brew some potion. Anything.
  • But seriously, James and Co. must have been extraordinarily talented because they did some truly impressive magic for their age.
  • “Do you think Sirius Black knows about the passageway through Honeydukes?” YES YOU RIFFRAFF HE DOES KNOW. But he’s using the Whomping Willow instead, either way. Bottom line, Hermione was right.
  • The whole thing with Hermione and the firebolt makes me so sad. I mean Harry is a lot more understanding than Ron, but they don’t really even try to understand her and she had such good intentions.
  • Lupin mentoring Harry 😭😭😭
  • Poor Hagrid. I mean I guess his loss isn’t as impactful to me because Buckbeak actually ends up being saved and honestly no one at the ministry has any energy left to look for him after he leaves with Sirius.
  • Yes, yes. Quiddich triumph party stuff.
  • Ron is such an attention whore.
  • To be completely honest I’m astonished Harry and Ron pass their exams and make it to the next year at all.
  • Also Hermione standing up for herself and others in this book is setting up SPEW for Goblet of Fire.
  • Hearing this story again, with Mooney, Wormtail, Padfoot, and Prongs 😭😭
  • Why didn’t you forking petrify Peter after you decided to turn him in? Or stupefy him? What about veritaserum? What about pensives? For crying out loud. Was all that invented in between book 5 and 7??? Personally as a non-magical being I feel much more equipped than any of these so called “wizards and witches” at making sure Pettigrew doesn’t get away.
  • 8/10—Ah yes, this is the ~best~ Harry Potter book. It has some spot-on pacing, all of a sudden you’re nearing the end of the book *sob*. Also the last like 50 pages are a WILD ride. I forgot so much. This has been a cleansing invigorating experience 10/10 would recommend.
    • It was so nice to visit the story and remember a lot of the little things like the Shrieking Shack and the Three Broomsticks, they don’t get enough love. The most irritating thing about Snape is that he wants Dumbledore and Lily to give him a second chance but doesn’t want to give second chances to everyone else (e.g. Sirius, Remus, and Lupin—It’s honestly really fine he thinks Pettigrew is scum because he is).
    • Also, rereading these how did anyone think Snape was a good person? How did I? My judgement was obviously severely impaired.
    • I’m sorry people who like Ron, there was a of hate in this post but sucks to suck (again I’m sorry).
    • In conclusion: Hermione was right. Period. The end. Forever and ever. And even after that.
