Top Ten Tuesdays was created by The Broke and Bookish, but is now hosted weekly by That Artsy Reader Girl and anyone is free to participate! This week’s topic is characters I’d want to switch places with. But I’m not really into switching places with characters, that’s not how I enjoy books, so I’m going a little AWOL and just doing a freebie TTT. Don’t hate me, lol. Here’s a few recent books I’ve read and really loved. Most of them will have a review attached or coming soon!

  • Love Looks Pretty on You by Lang Leav
This poetry collection by Lang Leav reminds me a lot of Amanda Lovelace’s Women are Some Kind of Magic series. It’s definitely collection of self-love and expression. Learning from life, and living on your own terms, which is exactly what I’m looking for right now.
  • Bloom by Kevin Panetta and Savanna Ganucheau
This is a beautiful graphic novel about two boys who find each other and one who learns to grow up, a lot. I love it so much for the art, it’s absolutely stunning.
  • To Kill A Kingdom by Alexandra Christo
This is the book that made me love fantasy in 2019 again. Ironically it wasn’t extremely hyped Wicked King. But I adored this book. It’s poetic and has excellent character arcs and development. I would die for these characters.
  • The Duchess Deal by Tessa Dare
I’ve never read a romance by Tessa Dare, but she’s one of the big names so I decided to give it a try and it did NOT disappoint. I’ve yet to read another by her, but I will definitely reach for her again when I’m in the mood for a historical fiction romance.
